The K40 laser cutter is a machine that has all the components to become a wonderful device. Only there are several question marks when it comes to use and safety.
The whole machine has to be rewired because most of the wires were intertwined without insulation. So very dangerous.
Furthermore, there was also no good air flow inside the machine, due to the smoke the cut becomes less accurate. Hence also a complete redisgn of the head was necessary.
Finally, there was also no sensory feedback for the heat of the laser tube and the cooling water. However, it is essential that these values are properly monitored.
