For this event, we had to design, 3D print, and finish brooches in the shape of blue teddy bears with golden scarves. These bears served as brooches for the orchestra members and were produced entirely in-house. To make this project a success, we used our extensive range of services: FDM printing, 3D modeling, and post-production of printed parts. We applied CAD modeling in Fusion360 for the design of the bears and their golden scarves.
For 3D printing, we used the FDM printing technique with PLA filament. Thanks to the MultiColor option, the scarf and the bear could be printed simultaneously.
To give the 3D printed item a smooth finish, we used ironing in the print settings. After the 3D printing process, we performed gluing and assembly: a clamp was glued to the printed part to achieve the final result.
