For fashion designer Jiyeon Tak, we were commissioned to work out her accessory for the Antwerp fashion show in 3D and then produce it with our SLA printers.

The 3D model was built in the open source 3D modeling program Blender3D.
After the model was built and approved, it was sent to the slicer software to prepare for production. We use the program Chitubox to translate 3D models into the production process.
After the resin prints are then pre-sanded for later repainting with a dark gray primer. After sanding, the parts are glued together.
To fabricate the oxidized look, we worked with 4 types of silver or metallic spray. These were applied in layers with cotton wool. Then we sanded the model with files and sandpaper, which exposes the dark primer layer which gives an additional hue.
Film props with complex finishing, technical prototypes, creative branding, corporate gifts, personalized items, proprietary 3D designs and more.
