One of the main requirements for the mask was that it should be light enough to be worn throughout the performance. Therefore, little infill was used and the mask was reinforced with a hard coating. This provided the necessary strength without adding extra weight.
For this project, the mask was printed in multiple pieces and then glued. To ensure the seams were seamless, filler was used and the mask was leveled and sprayed with a leveling spray. The result was a detailed mask that was light enough to be worn comfortably during the performance.
