This model card of a jet fighter is fully assembled without glue.
It's a kind of 2D puzzle where you slide the different elements together.
When all the elements are assembled in the correct order, the 3D model remains snapped together.
Manufacturing
This was our most technical model to work from, both in terms of modeling and 3D print settings.
The incisions of the details are on average .2mm wide. The maximum thickness is 1mm maximum.
At the bottom of the albatross letters, the user can find the center shot of the airplane along the back.
To minimize distortion on the branding section, we had to turn on bridging settings and completely round off the incision.
