For Coopervision, we had to design a shopping cart token for one of their customers with the Lammerant logo on the front and the Coopervison logo on the back.
The challenge was to make the letters on the front readable and printable without making the design look cluttered.
To get the detailed shopping cart coin produced properly, we reduced the layer width to .3mm instead of the original .44mm. This ensures that the letters are printed with 2 walls. This ensures a solid connection to the base form and a strong end result.
Converting Coopervision's complex logo into a balanced drawing in 3D was the next challenge. To translate the color shades into a printable form, we classified them by color value. Based on this, we cut out successive plateaus.
The coins are produced locally with black Makerfill filament from 3D&I.
Film props with complex finishing, technical prototypes, creative branding, corporate gifts, personalized items, proprietary 3D designs and more.
