For jewelry designer Vera Dewit, we created a 3D model based on a scanned sketch. This model would serve as a separation layer between wrist and silver bracelet, so the final design must be flexible enough to completely enclose the silver base.
As a result, we chose to work with Makerfill Flex TPU. That material has a shore hardness of 85. With a custom print profile, we sliced the design and sent it on to the FDM printer.
Because the bracelet will be printed in flexible filament we need to set an extra layer around the model, which is called a brim. If we don't, the whole thing will start to deform during printing.
Film props with complex finishing, technical prototypes, creative branding, corporate gifts, personalized items, proprietary 3D designs and more.
